Jane Austen and zombies on film

This seems like a bad idea. Apparently Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is going to be made into a movie.

Of course, I also thought that making a movie out of a Disneyland ride was a bad idea, so what do I know?

I saw that and thought, hmmm. Maybe the movie will be better than the book (a la Bridges of Madison County). I loved the concept of that book but the execution was pretty "meh."

By the way, I was talking about Jane Austen & zombies when I mentioned liking the concept (not Bridges).

I saw this blurb too, and did a double take over Natalie Portman. I had to really think and finally remembered it was a different young dark-haired starlet, Kiera Knightley, who was in the more recent P&P movie. Pirates, Star Wars, I always have to really think about who was in which one!

Keira Knightley has a small role in one of the new Star Wars movies as Natalie Portman's handmaidens who is a decoy for the queen. It was before she was well known and she's all made-up in the royal Naboo manner so unless you're looking closely, you'd never know. So you're right to be confused!
