Hey there! There are a couple author blogs J and I follow once in a while and I just thought this was cute as we wait for May.

We also read a sneak peak of The Last Olympian in the back of his new Demigod Files book. J did not feel he had to purchase the Files, instead opting for some large anthology of all of Watchmen comics. (devoured and enjoyed).

I haven't seen the Demigod Files books - what are they like? Are they separate stories?
Blackjack is hilarious - I love the thuggish speech from a winged horse. I imagine him with a Philly accent.

The book seemed cute enough--supposedly three unheard of tales about Percy, some interviews with Camp Half Blood attendees and some nice artwork pages--Posedion with what looked like a hawaii type shirt! It all kind of reminded me of those two slim Hogwarts books that came out while waiting for so long for the next HP.
Meg Cabot did something similar with extra Princess Diaries mini-books in between the "real" books. Of course, she churns out new books at an alarming pace...
